John Derian for Repetto

John Derian (the master of printed textiles and decoupage) + Repetto (the ultimate in ballet flats) .. quite possibly two of my favorite things. **le sigh** The duo has combined to create a limited-edition pair of flats retailing for $295.00. These beauties simply beckon for spring days in swirly skirts! Incredibly gorgeous shoes that you can ACTUALLY walk in.. what a concept!!
Now it's time to clean out the closet to make some room and some $ from its current inhabitants so that I can make these mine! Make the dream come true by heading to Bergdorf Goodman, Opening Ceremony, or John Derian stores!

"Brick"-A-Brac

Ever wish that you could find a couch that was as plush as a pillow...  something that you could just fall into and never want to get up from? Why not buy a couch that essentially IS a giant pillow? Ask and you shall receive. Ingenious Copenhagen based designer Kibsi is responsible for such a masterpiece known as the Brick Sofa. Using the method utilized in tectonic brick laying, the creators stacked pillow after pillow into a sofa and held together by fiber concrete buttons.

How incredible is that!?
The architectural phenomenon doesn't end with the sofa... the design is also available in an ottoman, chair and arm chair.
