Living In- Roman Holiday

Temperatures have finally risen over 30 degrees, Punxsutawney Phil didn't see his shadow, little birdies are beginning to chirp in the morning sun... you know what that means folks!
SPRING is on the way!!!!
Okay, I may be a bit premature with this statement but I am itching to get away on a spring break vacation. I'm dreaming of swirly cotton skirts, sheer blouses, leather wrap sandals and I find my wardrobe inspiration via one of my favorite Audrey Hepburn films... Roman Holiday.

To Walk in Someone Else's Shoes

It's one of the most exciting weeks of the year for fashionistas all over the 'verse.... Fashion Week! The RTW Fall 2011 Shows have descended upon NYC! Two years ago I journeyed to the East and took part in the insane spectacle that is NYFW.... well not so much directly involved but very much an avid gawker... Alas, work and budget limitations call and I must be a spectator from afar. Here are a few of my favorite moments of NYFW so far through the eyes of those much more fortunate than I.

Après-ski

In case you haven't heard.. there was a blizzard in Chicago this past week! 22" of snow fell in under 24 hours and there was ThunderSnow (quite the new phenomenon to me)! Cars were left deserted along Lake Shore Drive resulting in an Apocalyptic-esque scene. Needless to say I had to call in for a snow day as the streets went unplowed and I stayed snuggled warmly in my bed.
Hey, it's not easy looking chic in a snow storm! Stay warm my loves!
